Keeping Fair: Why Not Drive A 2004 Buick Rendezvous?

By Pam Miller

Owners of the 2004 Buick Rendezvous marvel at how this vehicle makes sure of a safe and convenient travel. However, it is understandable that most vehicles no matter how great they may seem always have its own share of downfalls.

If you are planning of buying your own 2004 Buick Rendezvous, take a look at what some owners have to say on about the Con's of owning one.

Owner No. 1 - Things were doing really great but after driving around 32k miles, the transmission started slipping. By the 34k mile, I started to hear weird noises - groaning noises which came from the differential. This happens every time I make a slow turn. By the 40k mile, the computer died. I could no longer get the car to start so the only option left was to have it towed and get a replacement of the computer. The only option I had was to have it replaced. The car maintenance is also expensive. For the differential's fluid flush, I had to pay $185.

Owner 2 - I think that the side mirrors are way too big. This makes me unable to see of cars turning towards me or of people walking in the sidewalks. The brakes can also be inconvenient at times.

Owner 3 - My 2004 Buick Rendezvous is great but I will have to complain about three things - the lights, the back hatch and the cargo area. First of all, let me tell you that I am very happy with the lights having its own "auto" feature. But then again, there are times when I just want to drive without having to switch the lights on. The vehicle gives me only two options - auto and on. I think it would have been better if an "off" option was also available. Apart from that, the back hatch also releases squeaks from time to time. The noise gets even more audible when the radio is turned off. The rear seats fold down eating up most of my cargo space.

Owner 4 - The large side mirrors seem to be quite a problem to me. So far, the Buick's mirrors are the largest that I've ever seen in my entire life. I use the big mirrors when I back up. Backing up is a bit difficult since because of the car's rear windows. Since I cannot fully see what's behind me, I rely on the side mirrors instead.

Every car has its own pro's and con's. If you plan to buy a 2004 Buick Rendezvous, be sure to conduct a quick yet thorough research about the vehicle. You can find a wide range of reviews online. Fairly weigh the positive and the negative aspects of the vehicle. Doing so will help decide whether or not buying a 2004 Buick Rendezvous will suit your lifestyle. - 21392
