By Ben Pate

The Bavarian Motor Works also known as BMW is one part of the family of automobiles owned by BMW MG. Also included in this family of automobiles is the Rolls Royce line and the Mini car company. BMW sells cars around the world, including the United States. Los Angeles BMW dealer is a part of their family of dealerships.

While BMW's corporate office is in Germany, they also have manufacturing facilities throughout the world, including manufacturing plants in Australia and the United States. One such manufacturer is located in Greenville, South Carolina. The Greenville, South Carolina, manufacturing plant manufactures several models, including the X5 and X6. This facility produces around 150,000 automobiles a year for BMW.

Many of the cars made in the United States are sold within the States. Many of these automobiles are available in southern California, including the Los Angeles area. Among those cars made in the United States is the BMW X3.

The X3, which has been produced elsewhere, is scheduled to be produced in the United States in 2010. This particular model is a second generation that is BMW's answer to the SUV craze in the States. The X3 is actually the second of BMW's Sports Activity Vehicles. When the X3 is made in South Carolina this will mean that all X series BMW's are made in the U.S.A. Currently being made in the Greenville plant are the X5 and the X6. The X series of automobiles is a great example of the autos produced by BMW.

BMW manufactures many different series of automobiles of which the X series is just one of these lines. Another series of automobiles produced by BMW includes the M series. The M series stems from BMW's proud racing history. These vehicles are a tribute to the years of racing victories that BMW has witnessed. There are three popular M series cars currently in production and these consist of the M3, M5 and M6.

BMW also produces a two-door convertible sports car. The Z4 is the second generation of this automobile that caters to the crowd that prefer the option of a convertible roof. The Z4 is popular among the young crowd with many of these automobiles being owned by young adults in their 20's and 30's. BMW auto dealer has provided the Z4 with increased safety features and new body styling for 2010.

There is a segment of the auto industry that is concerned with ecology and has demanded that car manufacturers provide alternative power sources. Hybrids car are the answer to this demand. BMW has joined other car companies by providing the Hybrid 7. BMW has marketed the Hybrid 7 as the fastest hybrid sedan. - 21392
