Why Dual Fuel Vehicles Are King

By Jackson Gregory

Hybrids are definitely the most popular type of "green" car on the road, but are there other options? Indeed there are many different options for vehicles that run on alternative fuels, and the surprising thing is that these other options are much cleaner running than hybrids.

One great option is a CNG car. These vehicles are either dedicated to natural gas or are bi fuel and can also run off of regular gasoline. These vehicles are typically factory made or have a cng conversion kit installed. The big three automakers stopped making factory cng cars in 2004 when they came out with their flex fuel cars.

There is no need to fear if you cannot find a factory made car on the market. You can add a cng conversion kit to any type of car, even diesel engines! These kits are amazing as they maximize your engine power, miles per gallon, and your engine life. Many cng engines have gone 1 million miles before dying.

CNG factory and converted vehicles are much better than the competing hybrid car. CNG cars run 90% cleaner than a hybrid and the engine life is almost tripled. Many CNG engines go close to 1 million miles before biting the dust because of how clean natural gas burn compared to regular petrol gasoline.

Many people don't know what the term dual fuel means. It means that the car can run on two separate types of fuel. A CNG bi fuel car can run on natural gas and then with the flip of a switch can be running on regular gasoline. This is great because if you are in an area without a cng fill station you can always just fill up on regular gasoline and still be able to drive your car.

There are many types of cng cars and conversion kits available in today's market. Make sure you research and learn all you can about these cng kits before having them installed in your vehicle. We have lots of information on these different types of kits on our website. - 21392
