The junk yard knows that and on occasion you will see cars that have been fixed in front of the junk yards for sale. These are most likely cars that were turned in that were at one time deemed salvage.
Now, let concentrate on if a salvage vehicle is for you. This is not something that all people should deal with. Some of these vehicles need a lot of work and money to get them back in shape. If you are not prepared to put out the right amount of money to repair these vehicles you will definitely have a bad experience. Even after the car has been repaired there is still the process of getting it inspected and registered to return it back to the road. All of this takes time.
